Oklahoma State defeated Tulsa 28-23 on Saturday afternoon at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater. The game was moving rather slow in the first half, with the first points coming late in the second quarter.
Although the lack points in the first half came as a shock to most, the real surprise comes in the form of passing yards.
TU's quarterback Davis Brin had a successful day in the air, throwing for 224 yards on the day. He was 19 for 27, out-throwing the Spencer Sanders who had 173 yards.
However, Sanders was able to connect for some big yard plays later in the game. Players like receivers Brennan Presley and Jaden Bray (who led the team in receiving yards Saturday) were able to create space and come away with some curial grabs that ultimately led to a Cowboys victory.
