Stark leading the way in Dallas after Day One

After the first day at the Trinity Forest Invitational, the Cowgirls are sitting in solo second place, and Maja Stark is leading the individual side of the event.

The second round has been suspended until Tuesday due to darkness. The field will finish its rounds from Monday and then finish the tournament with the final 18 holes.

Stark was powered by a first round 6-under-par 66. She currently sits at 5-under and three strokes ahead of second place.

Maddison Hinson-Tolchard had a tough time getting going in her first two collegiate rounds. She is currently at 12-over-par and a tie for 44th.

Baylor leads the tournament after the first day sitting at 4-under with a 13 stroke lead over the 9-over- par Cowgirls in second.

Lianna Bailey: 5-over, T-12

Stark: 5-under, 1st

Hinson-Tolchard: 12-over, T-44

Han-Hsuan Yu: 2-over, 7th

Hailey Jones: 9-over, T-27
