Oklahoma State football fans have long wished for a meeting with Alabama in football, and they will finally get it.

The schools announced Tuesday that they will meet for a home-and-home series. The Crimson Tide will visit Stillwater on Sept. 23, 2028 and the Cowboys will head to Tuscaloosa on Sept. 15, 2029.

The Cowboys latest scheduling of a Power-5 team will ensure OSU plays  a Power-5 team in its nonconference schedule every year from 2022-2029.

The Cowboys have also scheduled Arizona State (2022 and 2023), Arkansas (2024 and 2027 and again in 2032 and 2033), Oregon (2025 and 2026) and Nebraska (2034 and 2035).

Oklahoma State is 1-0 all-time against Alabama, winning 34-31 in 2006.
