The No. 33 Oklahoma State men’s golf team finished top five in The Prestige.
The Cowboys went into this tournament with high hopes and did not disappoint. They finished behind Texas, Pepperdine, San Diego State and Texas Tech. The Cowboys finished 7-under par with a to par of negative seven and a total score of 845.
Austin Eckroat finished second with a total score of 203 at 10-under par behind only behind San Diego State’s Leo Oyo who had a score of 202. Eckroat climbed seven spots up the leaderboard in the final round.
The rest of the Cowboy team had strong performances as well with Rasmus Neergaad-Petersen having a final score of 214 and T-34 in the tournament. Brian Stark finished with a score of 215 and T-39. Lastly was Aman Gupta and Ferinand Muller who both finished with a total of 217 and T-45.
The Cowboys had their good and bad moments in the tournament but ended up doing well as they went and finished fifth among a 16-team field. This is their second top-5 finish of the season in as many tournaments.
