OSU men’s golf victorious in final fall finale

Oklahoma State men's golf is in third place after the first day of the Big 12 Championships. 

The Oklahoma State men’s golf team won the Maridoe Collegiate Invitational to close out its fall season.

Led by Austin Eckroat, the Cowboys used a powerful second round to jump into contention and took the lead during the final round.

The Cowboys (16-over par) finished three shots ahead of Pepperdine.

Eckroat finished tied for second after a bogey on the 18th hole in his third round to finish at even par.

Freshman Bo Jin also finished in the top-10 with a tied fourth finish at 2-over par.

The Cowboys wrap up their fall slate with this win, a second place finish in Big 12 Match Play and an eighth place finish in the Colonial Collegiate Invitational.
