O'Brate Stadium, the new home of Oklahoma State baseball, will open March 20 with the Cowboys' series against TCU.

O'Brate Stadium may or may not open amid fanfare. 

Oklahoma State's new baseball stadium was slated to open on March 20 for the Cowboys' Big 12 opener against TCU. However, because of the coronavirus, the status of the opening remains in limbo.

The OSU baseball team will not play its weekend series against Fresno State after the Mountain West suspended its baseball season until further notice, according to D1Baseball's Kendall Rogers.

OSU softball's Cowgirl Invitational has been canceled.

Numerous schools and conferences have either canceled or suspended spring sports.

The SEC suspended all sports until March 30. The Pac-12, ACC and AAC suspended sports until further notice.

The Ivy League canceled all spring sports.

Fellow Big 12 school Kansas suspended all home and away athletic events indefinitely. West Virginia followed suit and suspended all athletic events through March 22, according to Jared Serre.

Brian Davis of the Austin Statesman wrote the Big 12 athletic directors are scheduled to meet on Thursday. The Big 12 has already canceled its gymnastics and equestrian championships.

All Division 1 men's basketball conference tournaments have been canceled.

The NCAA men's basketball tournament has not been canceled yet but Duke is among other schools that have already pulled out of the tournament.
