Former OSU wrestler signs MMA deal

Former Cowboy wrestler and two-time All-American Kyle Crutchmer announced via his personal Twitter account he has signed a contract with Bellator MMA.

Crutchmer has been fighting with the Xtreme Fighting League until now, with his in-ring MMA debut in June 2018 in Miami, Okla., at the Buffalo Run Casino and Resort’s Xtreme Fight Night 348. 

Now, Crutchmer’s MMA record is at 4-0-0, with two wins via submission, one via technical knockout, and one via unanimous decision.

At Oklahoma State, Crutchmer compiled a 95-26 record with two All-American honors and two Big 12 Championships at 174 pounds. Crutchmer graduated in 2017.

Crutchmer is a native of Tulsa and wrestled at Tulsa Union High School.
