Oklahoma State released its fall softball schedule Wednesday, featuring bouts against a trio of opponents from last year in Wichita State, Tulsa, and LSU.

The season opens with three straight games at Cowgirl Stadium in Stillwater. Seminole State arrives on Sept. 23, followed by the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma on Sept. 29. They close the homestand with West Texas A&M on Oct. 3.

The Cowgirls play their first road game against Tulsa on Oct. 6. In one meeting against the Golden Hurricane last year, the Cowgirls defeated them 7-0.

The next two games are back at home, starting with another in-state opponent, Oklahoma Christian, on Oct 9. North Texas arrives next on Oct. 13.

The marquee matchup of the fall schedule comes Oct. 16 against LSU, who made it to the super regionals last season. The Cowgirls won both games against the Tigers last year, and hope to extend the streak this year at Collins Park in Spring, Texas.

The season comes to a close Oct. 20 with a rematch against Wichita State. The teams split a two-game series last spring.

All the home games this fall will be free to attend and open to the public. Guidelines for attendance are subject to change if the need arises.
