Encarnacion, Campbell named NCBWA All-Americans

The awards keep coming for two of Oklahoma State baseball’s most dominant duo.

Third baseman Christian Encarnacion-Strand and pitcher Justin Campbell were named National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association All-Americans for 2021.

Encarnacion earned First Team honors for his dominant season at the plate and third base. He is the 26th Cowboy to earn First Team honors and the first since 2017.

Encarnacion was also named NCBWA District Six Player of the Year. He led the Cowboys in all Triple Crown categories, batting average (.361), home runs (15) and RBIs (66).

Campbell was named Freshman First Team All-American. Campbell through a no-hitter against Kansas in his most dominant outing of the season in route to a 7-2 record with 2.57 ERA.
