Cowgirls take the course in Arizona

Oklahoma State women’s golf has been on a tear to begin the season, two individual champions and a team win in just three spring events.

Now the Cowgirls are teeing it up at the Arizona Wildcat Invitational on Monday and Tuesday. The No. 7 Cowgirls played 36 holes Monday and finished the first day in third place. OSU’s 3-under-par score is 11 shots behind the leader, Texas, and three shots behind second place, No. 3 Southern California.

Fresh off her individual crown at the ICON Invitational, Rina Tatematsu 1-under on the day, which places her in a tie for sixth.

Isabella Fierro is making her second start of the spring season, and is getting back to her normal self. She shot 4-under on the day, and sits in a tie for fourth.
