The Oklahoma State women’s golf team wraps up one of the programs best seasons by sweeping postseason awards.

It’s the second time in school history where they swept the Big 12’s highest awards.

Cowgirl coach Greg Robertson was named Big 12 Coach of the Year and the Women’s Golf Coaches Association Central Region Coach of the Year. This is the fifth time Robertson has won conference coach of the year honor. He won MAC Coach of the Year four times while at Kent State.

In just his second season at his alma mater, first full season, he saw the Cowgirls to the NCAA Championship Match for the first time in school history, and tied the best finish in the National Championships with the runner-up finish. The Cowgirls also won five times in his second season.

Maja Stark won Big 12 Golfer of the Year. Stark was also the Big 12’s only WGCA First Team All-American. Stark won two events, and set the school record for scoring average, 70.48 (-1.42 to par). She also broke the records for birdies, rounds of par or better, par-3 and par-4 scoring averages.

She is the 11th Cowgirl golfer to earn the honor.

Rina Tatematsu won Big 12 Newcomer of the Year.

Tatematsu was also a WGCA Honorable Mention All-American. Tatematsu won the ICON Invitational in 2021. She also earned All-Big 12 Championship Team honors after finishing tied for eighth.

Isabella Fierro joined Stark and Tatematsu on the 11 person All-Big 12 Conference Team.
