Isabella Fierro

Isabella Fierro (pictured) won her finals match seven-and-six at the East Lake Cup to propel the Cowgirls to a win.

To no one’s surprise, the WGCA coaches poll has Oklahoma State inside the top five to begin the season.

The Cowgirls return three All-Americans in Isabella Fierro, Caley McGinty, and Rina Tatematsu. Freshman Maddison Tolchard was named to the ANNIKA award watchlist, an award given to the most outstanding female collegiate golfer.

Even with the loss of 2021 first-team All-American Maja Stark, the Cowgirls are primed for a great season.

Coach Greg Robertson is entering his third season overall, second full season, with the Cowgirls. The Cowgirls are coming off an appearance in the National Championship match, but lost to Ole Miss 4-1.

The Cowgirls begin their quest to return to the National Championship match on Sept. 13-14 at the Samuel P. Golden Invitational at Wildhorse GC.
