At English Turn Golf and Country Club, the Oklahoma State women's golf team finished in a tie for 13th place after entering the day in seventh at the All-State Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate in New Orleans.
The Cowgirls were six strokes away from being tied for ninth with Miami at the tournament’s conclusion.
Freshman Lianna Bailey led the Cowgirls in the final round with a 3-over 75 to finish in 22nd place.
Sara Camarena carded an 8-over 80 and Han-Hsuan Yu followed closely behind with a score of 10-over 82 in their final rounds of the tournament.
All together, the Cowgirls finished 24-over 312 for the final round and 49-over 913 overall for the competition.
The Cowgirls will next be in action in two weeks when they compete in the Darius Rucker Invitational in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
