For the second time this season, an Oklahoma State women’s basketball game has been postponed.
The Cowgirls season suffered its second setback in two weeks, as the Kansas State Wildcats will not host OSU on Sunday.
OSU has been no strangers to unique challenges through its first 11 games. The Cowgirls canceled their opener at Little Rock, but were ready to play days later.
This past week, OSU has played games with only eight players active. It is unknown when the Cowgirls will have a full team available.
In conference play, the setbacks are mounting. Kansas postponed its visit to Stillwater scheduled for Jan. 9, something the conference is looking to reschedule.
The immediate fix brought TCU to Stillwater for its second matchup with the Cowgirls in four days.
Now, the Wildcats can’t meet roster thresholds required to play. The scheduled meeting on Jan. 17 will be rescheduled in the future as the Big 12 works with the programs to find a suitable replacement date for all parties.
