Emma Broze made five birdies Saturday.

The Oklahoma State men’s golf team's original second tournament was canceled due to weather conditions in Houston, but it found a new event in the Seminole Intercollegiate.

The event started Friday and will consist of three rounds, ending Sunday Feb. 21. After Round 1, the Cowboys sit in third place, six shots behind the leader and host Florida State, which sits at 11-under-par. The Cowboys are one of just four teams under par in the 15 team event.

Eugenio Chacarra was the low Cowboy again, shooting a 4-under-par 68 and sits in a tie for third.

Austin Eckroat got going also with a 2-under 70 to start the event. Eckroat is one of five top-15 PGA University seniors in the event. Of those five only PGA University, No. 1 golfer John Pak finished with a better opening round with Eckroat.

The Cowboy lineup finished:

Austin Eckroat: 2-under, T-9

Brian Stark: 2-over, T-35

Eugenio Chacarra: 4-under, T-3

Bo Jin: 1-under, T-12

Ferninand Muller: 5-over, T-65
