Cowboy tennis adds transfer and freshman

Men's tennis vs. Northwestern.

Oklahoma State celebrates head coach, Jay Uwadia's 100th win after the match against Northwestern. (Stillwater, Oklahoma, Feb. 9, 2018)

Head coach Jay Udwadia has added more star power to the Cowboy tennis lineup.

One player coming in is Henrik Korsgaard, a transfer from the Virginia Tech tennis program who went 5-6 on the year.

However, for Korsgaard, he comes to the Cowboys with a 7-7 record in singles, and 12-7 playing on the No. 1 court. Korsgaard will look to bring some veteran presence to a team already mixed with newcomers and veteran star players.

The other player is Matisse Bobichon, a freshman from Lyon, France — the same hometown as fellow Cowboy Etienne Donnet.

Bobichon competed in the French Championship twice, in doubles and singles. He will look to add on to an already impressive resume as a young player.
