The wait is finally over for former Oklahoma State cornerback A.J. Green.
While Green's name wasn't called during the 2020 NFL Draft, he still signed as an undrafted free agent with the Cleveland Browns shortly after the 7th round concluded.
According to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, the deal includes $145,000 guaranteed with a base salary of $130,000 and a $15,000 signing bonus.
Wilson also noted that the Browns made a strong effort to get Green.
"Cleveland Browns wanted Oklahoma State corner AJ Green badly," he said in a tweet.
During the 2019 season, Green had 49 tackles, five pass breakups, one interception and was named a Jim Thorpe Award semifinalist.
