The Oklahoma State women’s soccer team had success at every level this season, and postseason awards prove that. The Cowgirls were represented at defender, midfielder and forward in the All-Big 12 Second Team.
Senior defender Charmé Morgan has now made back-to-back appearances on the list. Morgan appeared in every game for the Cowgirls and recorded two assists from her back-line position. She helped anchor a solid defense and created offensive runs all season long.
Junior midfielder Grace Yochum has also now made the All-Big 12 Second Team in back-to-back years. Yochum played all but 20 minutes of the season and was tied for the team lead with four goals. She was a leader on the team with her physical play and knack for coming up clutch in big moments. She had a game-winning goal off of a penalty kick against Iowa State and another penalty kick goal against Oklahoma.
Senior forward Gabriella Coleman is a newcomer to postseason conference award lists. Coleman earned her first selection with an outstanding season in which she scored three times and had one assist. Coleman was a threat to score at any moment with her unique ability to pull away from defenders and create her own shot. Coleman shot the ball 33 times and the ones that went in were often from angles other players wouldn’t have attempted.
Oklahoma State tied with Baylor for the most players on the All-Big 12 Second Team.
