Welcome to the beginning of what promises to be another great year at Oklahoma State University. 

First Cowgirl Ann and I want to say a special welcome to the thousands of new students on our beautiful campus. We are pleased you have chosen Oklahoma State. 

As an OSU student, you can explore opportunities in virtually every field of study and enhance your education through research, honors courses and study abroad. And, we offer a host of academic services to help you stay on track to graduation and an OSU degree. 

I encourage you to make the most of your time at OSU. Take advantage of all we have to offer, including nearly 500 student organizations. Get involved in service and leadership. Learn and expand your understanding through the rich diversity of our campus. Enjoy the arts and cultural events. Cheer on the Cowboys and Cowgirls. Improve your health and well-being through an assortment of activities. OSU offers something for everyone. 

This special issue of the O’Colly introduces you to many of the Trends and Traditions that make OSU unique and keep alumni from around the world connected and committed to their alma mater. We have America’s Greatest Homecoming Celebration. We are America’s Healthiest Campus. We are America’s Brightest Orange. Students gather, engage and make lifetime friends at America’s most comprehensive student union. OSU is a special place!
