Update: 23-year-old Stillwater woman still missing

Darian Hudson

Darian Hudson has been missing since Oct. 22. Anyone with information on her whereabouts should contact the Stillwater Police Department at 405-742-8327.

A Stillwater woman has been missing for more than a month, and police say suspicious circumstances surround her case.

Darian Michelle Hudson, 23, was reported missing on Oct. 22, and has had no contact with family, friends, coworkers or social media, since. Hudson reportedly left all of her belongings, including her cell phone, when she vanished from her home in the 500 block of West Fifth Street.

Stillwater Police Department detectives were able to track Hudson’s movements through the evening of Oct. 26, according to an SPD news release, saying she was last seen walking toward Country Club Road and McElroy Road. Police used a search dog to comb the wooded area near the intersection Monday, according to an SPD news release, but found only some of her belongings.

SPD Sgt. Royce Stephens said the department has exhausted its leads, and any outcome is a possibility, but Hudson is likely alive.

“We have no reason to believe that she has been harmed by someone else at this point,” Stephens said.  “No less than two detectives have worked this case, nonstop, for the past 3 and 1/2 weeks.”

The department is asking anyone with information on Hudson’s whereabouts to call Detective Mary Kellison at 405-742-8357, the SPD tip line at 405-742-8327 or dispatch at 405-372-4171.

Hudson is a black woman with brown eyes, reaching a height of 5 feet 3 inches, weighing 120 pounds and has a tattoo of a feather and five birds reading “Birds of a feather flock together” on the back of her right shoulder, according to an SPD news release. Witnesses reported Hudson was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white T-shirt and possibly a dark-colored coat.

Stephens said Hudson’s case differs from most missing persons reported in Stillwater because it has not been resolved.

“Missing person cases are normally resolved within a matter of days,” Stephens said. “(Hudson) totally disappeared.

“What 23-year-old girl leaves their phone in the middle of the night?”
