On Friday, Oklahoma State’s Office of Student Affairs announced the loss of OSU sophomore Brianna Willard. She was 23.

Willard was from Tulsa and was studying Human Development and Family Science. She passed away on Sunday.

“I am deeply saddened to inform you of the tragic loss last weekend of Brianna Willard, an OSU student and valued member of our Cowboy Family. We offer our deepest condolences to Brianna’s family, friends and loved ones,” said Dr. Doug Hallenbeck, OSU Vice President for Student Affairs, in a statement.

Hallenbeck encourages those who may need extra support during this time to seek grief counseling. OSU offers counseling for free.
