The Hideaway Pizza in Stillwater has temporarily closed due to a worker testing positive for COVID-19

The original Hideaway Pizza in Stillwater is temporarily closing its doors after a worker tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

The restaurant released the following statement on its Facebook page:

"The Hideaway is temporarily closed after an employee has tested positive for Covid-19.

In accordance with CDC Guidelines and instructions from Payne County Health Department, we are conducting a deep cleaning including disinfecting.

Following strict protocol, masks, gloves, and temperature testing of employee since declaration of the pandemic. Upon notification of the positive test, The Hideaway closed, and sent staff for testing.

We are taking the necessary measures and working with the Payne County Health Department to determine when it is safe to reopen. The health and safety of our guests and employees is of the upmost concern, and we will continue to take the necessary precautions.

It is still unknown when the restaurant will open up again.
