On Sep. 15, the Oklahoma State Department of Health’s COVID-19 dashboard reported 477 active cases in Payne county, with 419 coming from Stillwater. No additional deaths were reported.

At the state level, the Health Department reported 10,409 active cases today, with 7 additional deaths from yesterday.

The active totals in Payne county and Stillwater are down from yesterday, though they have been slowly increasing throughout the week. Oklahoma, however, saw an increase in active cases.

The University COVID-19 Dashboard reported 229 active cases on campus as of September 13. That total is down from last week’s total of 293 cases, though the percent positivity of tests given on campus increased to 13.29 percent.

The number of students in quarantine housing dropped from 51 to 34 over the past reporting period, according to the University dashboard.

The Oklahoma State Department of Health recommends self-quarantining if you have come into contact with an infected person or if you have been within six feet of an infected person for more than 15 minutes.
