COVID-19 Update, Nov. 25

COVID-19 has many people experiencing quarantine for the first time in their lives. 

On Wednesday, Oklahoma’s State Department of Health’s COVID-19 dashboard reported 540 active cases in Payne County with 391 coming from Stillwater. 

One male aged 65 or above was reported to have died from COVID-19 yesterday.

At the state level, the dashboard reported an increase in active cases to a new total of 33,317 with an additional 16 deaths from yesterday. This brings the death count to 1,680 over the course of the pandemic in Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma Department of Health recommends that masks be worn in public places especially indoor spaces like schools and restaurants.
