At about 1:30 a.m., an unidentified person shot into a crowd as security staff was “breaking up a party” at the event center, Stillwater Police Department Capt. Kyle Gibbs said.

The shooting victims have not been identified, but no fatalities have been reported. One man was flown to a hospital in Oklahoma City for gunshot wounds to his hand and chest. Two other victims, one with a gunshot wound in the leg and one with a gunshot wound in his arm, were treated at Stillwater Medical Center, and a fourth victim was treated at Norman Regional Medical Center for a gunshot wound to her buttocks, according to an SPD press release.

Gibbs said the shooter fled the scene and has not been identified. As of noon, Stillwater police were unsure what the party was for.
