It's that time of year.
As the school year ends, it is time to start preparing for the next one, which means apartment and house hunting.
Here is a short description of a few of the popular apartment selections for OSU students to live off-campus.
The Midtown Apartments are located on Ramsey and 4th Street, about a block from campus. The building offers 1-, 2-, 3- or 4-bedroom apartments. Every bedroom has a private bathroom and connects to a common living room and kitchen. The common amenities include a rooftop pool, a fitness center, a study center, a sand volleyball court, and community grills. There is also on-site 24-hour maintenance and security.
Aspen Heights is a gated community about a 10-minute drive from campus but includes private shuttle buses that run directly from the property to campus on weekdays. The buses also run to and from the strip every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. Some community amenities include an outdoor pool, fitness center, clubhouse, business center, spa, volleyball and basketball courts, and a media room. Each apartment has individual bedrooms and private bedrooms.
The Lodges are located on Duck Street in a short walking distance from campus. Each apartment includes two bedrooms with a shared bathroom, kitchen, and living space. Second and third floor apartments include a balcony.
The Reserve on Perkins
The Reserve on Perkins is a drive distance from campus but is located on the OSU bus route. Some shared community spaces in the complex include a hot tub, swimming pool, club house, volleyball and basketball court, and on-site maintenance. Each apartment includes a private bedroom and bathroom as well as either a balcony or patio.
One on 4th
One on 4th is located right next to the Midtown apartments, walking distance from campus. The complex offers studio, 1-, 2- or 4-bedroom floor plans. All attached bathrooms are private. Some community amenities include private courtyards, resort-style pool, fitness center, business center, and a clubhouse.
The Stillwater Flats are located next to The Lodges, less than half a mile walk to campus. In addition, it is located on two of the OSU bus routes. The complex offers 1-, 2- or 4- bedroom floor plans with private bathrooms. Some shared community spaces include a pool and sundeck, cardio center, outdoor drilling station, business center, and study lounge. In addition, there is a parking garage included with rent, private access gates, and 24-hour maintenance service.
The Quarters at Stillwater
The Quarters are located just north of campus on Boomer Road. Floor plan options include a one-bedroom, one-bathroom; a two-bedroom, two-bathroom; and a four-bedroom, four-bathroom. All apartments also include a private balcony or patio. Some community amenities include a fitness center, resort-style pool with poolside cabanas, fire pits, a dog park, club room, study lounge, outdoor lounge, on-site parking, and on-site maintenance.
Prime Place is located one block from campus on Elm Street. The complex offers the selection of furnished or unfurnished studios, 1-, 2-, 3- and 4-bedroom apartments. Prime Place is also pet-friendly. Some shared community spaces include a fitness center, a pool, security cameras, and on-site maintenance.
