Not everyone will be jetting off to some exotic destination next week. Let's face it, a lot of us will be spending our Spring Break on a couch at home.
Even if your Spring Break plans have more to do with "Golden Girls" marathons than sandy beaches, there is plenty in store next week to keep you busy and then some.
Here's a look at the movies, DVDs and TV shows that will be rotting your brain while your friends are getting their inevitable Spring Break sun burns.
MOVIES
Opening March 12
Remember Me — C+
Starring: Robert Pattinson, Emile de Ravin and Chris Cooper
Director: Allen Coulter
Already receiving considerably mixed reviews, it is almost impossible to expect a lot from this movie. Robert Pattinson stars as a rebellious and emotionally troubled young man who finds love and hope when he meets an optimistic young woman, played by Emile de Ravin. Expect Chris Cooper to give the excellent support that he's known for, but not a lot more.
Green Zone — B+
Starring: Matt Damon, Greg Kinnear and Amy Ryan
Director: Paul Greengrass
At this point, I think it would almost be boring to see Matt Damon follow orders in a movie. However, the frequent comparisons to the "Bourne" trilogy are going to hurt this action-thriller. Damon stars as a U.S. Army warrant officer who is attempting to unravel a secret plot in the early months of the war in Iraq. Expect it to be good and definitely exciting, but don't expect it to be a groundbreaking film.
Opening March 19
The Bounty Hunter — B
Starring: Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler
Directed: Andy Tennant
The director of "Hitch" presents a film about a bounty hunter, played by Gerard Butler, who is hired to track down his ex-wife, played by Jennifer Aniston. With Butler's surprising turn in "The Ugly Truth" and Aniston's tried and true romantic comedy experience, "The Bounty Hunter" presents what should be a solid attempt at romantic comedy.
The Runaways — A-
Starring: Kristen Stewart, Dakota Fanning and Alia Shawkat
Director: Floria Sigismondi
Stewart stars as Joan Jett in this biopic about '70s girl-rock legends, The Runaways. Supported by some of the better actresses in Hollywood and with a veteran music video director at the helm, this film, based on a novel by The Runaways' lead singer Cherie Currie, promises to provide an excellent look at the creation and subsequent success of the titular band.

Precious: Based on the Novel by Sapphire
— A
Starring: Gabourey Sidibe, Mo'Nique and Paula Patton
Director: Lee Daniels
If you missed it in theaters, here's your chance to see what all the Oscar buzz was about. Newcomer Sidibe stars as an overweight, pregnant and abused teen given the opportunity to attend an alternative school in Harlem. Mo'Nique portrays Sidibe's physically and verbally abusive mother Mary in an Academy Award-winning performance. This heart-wrenching drama is a must see.
The Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day
— C+
Starring: Sean Patrick Flannery, Norman Reedus and Billy Connolly
Director: Troy Duffy
This is the epitome of guilty pleasure. The McManus brothers return in the long anticipated to the cult favorite. While living in Ireland, the brothers are informed that their priest in Boston has been murdered and that they have been framed for the crime. They must resume their old ways in an attempt to track down their enemies and clear their names.
On sale March 20
The Twilight Saga: New Moon — B
Starring: Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner
Director: Chris Weitz
This is one film that needs no explanation, but, in case someone out there has been living under a rock for a few years, here it is. "New Moon" continues to follow Bella Swan, played by Kristen Stewart, as she lives a relatively typical teenage life, the main exception being her constant interaction with both vampires and werewolves. This is one that is sure to fly off the shelves and watched for days, at least by most of the girls that I know.
TV
March 14
Sons of Tucson — B-
Starring: Taylor Labine, Benjamin Stockham and Frank Dolce
It's no surprise that "Sons of Tucson" is directed by Justin Berfield, who played Reese on Fox's "Malcolm in the Middle." This show offers the same types of laughs, without the scathing bitterness that often accompanied much of "Malcolm." Labine stars as Ron, a slacker who is hired by a trio of boys to pretend to be their dad. With a markedly absurd premise, "Sons" is another lowbrow comedy in the vein that we've come to expect from Fox, but definitely in a good way.
March 18
FlashForward — B+
Starring: Joseph Fiennes, John Cho and Jack Davenport
ABC's critically-acclaimed sci-fi thriller picks up March 18 where it left off. "FlashForward" is set in a world where billions of people black out at the same time and see glimpses of their futures. Fiennes stars as FBI agent Mark Benford who spearheads the investigation into the cause of the blackout assisted by John Cho, of "Harold and Kumar" fame. If none of this sounds familiar, a first season recap episode will air March 16.
