A female OSU student accused a former OSU football player of raping her in his dorm room, according to a recently unsealed protective order against the player.
The protective order against former starting tight end Jamal Mosley was unsealed at the Payne County Courthouse after being dismissed in court Wednesday.
OSU Police confirmed to The Daily O’Collegian that an investigation of an on-campus rape in Davis Hall continues.
An OSU Police activity summary states, “a female student reported being raped by a male acquaintance at his residence in Davis Hall.” Records indicate that the rape was reported to have happened at 2 a.m. on Aug. 22.
OSU police said the investigation is ongoing and declined to comment.
Police would not say whether the rape in Davis Hall is related to the allegations of rape against Mosley. Mosley left the OSU football team Tuesday for “personal reasons.”
Meanwhile, in the petition for the protective order, the female student alleges that Mosley brought her to his dorm room at Davis Residence Hall about midnight on Aug. 22, according to the document.

The student reported being “very intoxicated” and passing out with few recollections of the night. She woke up in her own apartment the next morning and suspected she had been raped.
In the protective order, the student said before she went to the hospital, she received a text message from Mosley stating that she left her camera in his room. The student said the sheets from Mosley’s room, her clothing and her camera “have been sent in for testing,” according to the document.
District Attorney Rob Hudson did not return repeated phone calls from the O’Collegian.
In a phone interview with the O’Collegian late Wednesday, Mosley said receiving the restraining order was shocking.
He has since left the state and said he plans to enroll at the University of Tennessee.

She left school and went back home.
By the way she is black......... so much for the race card.
If I was not guilty of what he has been "accused" of wild horses couldn't drag me out of Stillwater.
A real man would stay around and defend his reputation.
The article says he left for personal reasons and to better himself. I could understand it if he wasn't on the number 9 team in the nation (and first team starter to boot).
Very fishy......................
I think Coach Gundy gave him two choices------Leave or Leave
