The Casey Donahew Band will give a live show during the Tumbleweed’s annual Mardi Party.

The sound of the Casey Donahew Band's "White Trash Story" is a familiar one. Fans have heard it prerecorded and live at the Tumbleweed Dance Hall and Thursday night patrons will once again have the opportunity to hear it live.

"Casey loves playing at the Tumbleweed and Casey always brings in a really high-energy show that is really interactive with the crowd," said Jordan Woodruff, Tumbleweed Dance Hall assistant manager. "You are hard pressed to find anybody that has been to a live Casey Donahew show that says they didn't have fun."

Doors open at 9 p.m. for the red dirt show, which was originally scheduled for January but postponed because of weather.

Due to the rescheduling, the concert will be held during another event.

"This is also Tumbleweed's annual event, Mardi Party, which is kind of a pre-Spring Break blowout for students and it is a lot of fun," Woodruff said. "A lot of times we don't even have bands but this time because of the rescheduling we had to put Casey there."

Woodruff said the band fits in with the "crazy atmosphere" of Mardi Party.

Tickets at the door are $15.
