Stillwater police officers apprehended suspects in two cases of automobile burglary Sunday night, which resulted in three arrests.
The first case occurred just past midnight at West 9th Avenue and South Knoblock Avenue. Officers responded to a 911 call of two people attempting to break into parked vehicles, according to a press release.
Officers located Stephen Garret Deaton, 19, and Coty Aaron McKinney, 22, both of Stillwater, according to the release.
Deaton and McKinney were reported to be in possession of property taken from numerous vehicles in the area.
The two are being charged with multiple counts of attempted burglary of an automobile and possession of stolen property.
The second report came around 4 a.m. Officers located Vincent Tyler Heid, 20, of Stillwater near 3000 N. Monroe St.
Heid was also found to be in possession of stolen property, according to a release. He fought with officers and was subdued with the aid of a Taser.
Heid is being charged with attempted burglary of an automobile, possession of stolen property and resisting arrest.
All three suspects are awaiting charges at Payne County Jail.
