On Sunday, the Lakers, Jazz, Heat, Magic, 76ers, Celtics and Nets had a feature in common with two Thunder players

They scored 91 points or fewer; the same amount of points Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook combined for in a thrilling 124-118 overtime win against the Nuggets in Oklahoma City.

On a night that could be described as a stat enthusiast's dream, Kevin Durant was nothing short of sensational, scoring a career-high 51 points.

Durant's 51 points was the most any player has scored in the NBA this season.

Durant shot 19-28 from the field and 5-6 from three point range, hitting big shot after big shot to bring OKC (24-7) back from a 97-90 deficit with five minutes left in the game. He hit a three with less than 30 seconds left to make it 111-109, then threw down a dunk to the tie the game at 111 with four seconds to go. As he scored points 50 and 51 from the line, chants of "M-V-P" reigned down from the frenzied crowd.
