Wide receiver Michael Harrison has been dismissed from the Oklahoma State football team for violating unspecified team rules, sources told The Daily O'Collegian.

Harrison, a junior from Atlanta, Texas, played in 11 games in 2011, catching 20 passes for 255 yards and three touchdowns.  He was a projected starter next season.

Harrison was initially suspended for the 2011 season opener against Louisiana for unresolved eligibility issues, but was cleared to play a day before the game.

The team declined to comment about Harrison's status.
