Duncan Demuth has entered his name into the NCAA’s transfer portal.

Demuth, a freshman forward on the Oklahoma State men's basketball team, recently completed his first season with the Cowboys before a report by broke the news of his intended transfer on Thursday.

Demuth averaged 0.9 points and shot 29 percent from the field last season and played just under nine minutes per game.

With Demuth now in the Transfer Portal, that leaves coach Mike Boynton with three available scholarships that can be filled during the spring signing period.

Demuth makes the fourth OSU men's hooper from the 2019 team to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal, joining guard Michael Weathers, forward Maurice Calloo and center Kentrevious Jones. Weathers, Calloo and Jones joined the Transfer Portal after they were released from the program for disciplinary reasons during the season.

Former OSU assistant David Kontaxis, who took the lead on Demuth's recruitment, was let go from the program earlier this month.

OSU currently has four signees in the 2019 class: four-star guards Marcus Watson and Avery Anderson III, four-star forward Kalib Boone and his twin brother Keylan.
