Oklahoma State's Daton Fix grapples with Wyoming's Montorie Bridges during the final round of the Big 12 Wrestling Championship at the BOK Center in Tulsa on Sunday, March 10.

Derek White and Daton Fix both searched for their first NCAA titles and now will head back to Stillwater with a second place finish to their names.

White faced Anthony Cassar (Penn State) in the heavyweight title match.

He came away looking outmatched against someone whom he defeated in this season’s Southern Scuffle, losing 10-1.

White finished his senior season 32-2 and had the Cowboys' best placement at heavyweight since 2010.

Fix faced Nick Suriano (Rutgers) in the 133-pound final.

Fix won their previous matchup thanks to a hand to the face call in sudden-victory.

This time around, they again went to sudden-victory. Suriano got the better of the Cowboy freshman, winning 4-2.

Fix ended his freshman season with 34-2 record and an All-American finish.
