Two Oklahoma State captains earned their first Big 12 honors.
Cameron McGriff and Lindy Waters III, juniors on the Cowboy basketball team, received Phillips 66 All-Big 12 honorable mention recognition, the conference announced Sunday.
McGriff, a forward from Grand Prairie, Texas, leads OSU with 12.4 points per game and 7.4 rebounds per game. He has also taken 24 charges this season.
Waters, a guard from Norman, is third in the Big 12 with a 3-point percentage of 45.3. His free-throw percentage of 90.8 makes him second in the conference.
McGriff and Waters helped the Cowboys (12-19 overall, 5-13 Big 12) defeat West Virginia on Saturday in Gallagher-Iba Arena.
As the nine seed in the Big 12 Tournament, OSU will take on TCU at 6 p.m. Wednesday in Kansas City, Missouri.
