Cowgirls upset No. 6 Penn State

Kim Rodriguez goes after the ball during the Oklahoma State vs. Saint Louis match on Sunday September 08, 2019 at Neil Patterson Stadium in Stillwater, OK.

In the 102nd minute, the Oklahoma State soccer team shocked the college soccer scene when a header from Kim Rodriguez scored the golden goal against Penn State on Thursday.

The Cowgirls (5-0-1) are no strangers to upsets. Last season, OSU defeated Florida, which was ranked No. 4 at the time, 1-0 in double overtime.

The Lady Nittany Lions (4-2-1) outshot OSU 19 to nine, but had trouble finding the back of the net after their first goal from Ally Schlegel.

Jaci Jones scored the equalizer in the 33rd minute for her 6th goal this season.

Sixty-nine minutes of tremendous goalkeeping from Dani Greenlee followed.

In double overtime, Jones once again made herself known as her corner kick led to Rodriguez's game-winning header.

The Cowgirls return to Neal Patterson Stadium on Sunday to face Omaha.
