Rylee Bayless, Chyenne Factor and Michaela Richbourg prepare for the upcoming inning during the first game of a doubleheader between No. 16 Oklahoma State vs. Kansas Big 12 Conference softball game at Cowgirl Stadium in Stillwater on Friday, April 5, 2019.

The Oklahoma State softball team swept Iowa State this past weekend to extend its win streak to six games.

Rylee Bayless had the series of her life against the Cyclones (23-18, 1-8 Big 12), leading the Cowgirls (32-11, 10-2 Big 12) with 10 hits in the three game series.

She added five runs, four RBI’s, three doubles and two stolen bases to lead her team to their second-straight Big 12 sweep.

Bayless wasn’t the only No. 14 Cowgirl to light up Ames, Iowa. Michaela Richbourg continued her hotsreak, finishing with four hits and eight RBIs.

Not to be outdone by her teammates, Madi Sue Montgomery tallied six hits of her own with two home runs and five RBIs.

Along with the Cowgirls bats, their pitching kept them in all three games. As a staff, they surrendered 11 runs in 19 innings. Samatha Clakley's seven inning eight strikeout performance in game two highlighted the series.

OSU’s next action will be a midweek game against Tulsa on Tuesday night.
