The Cowboys were dominant in Lubbock, Texas, at the Big 12 Championships on Saturday morning.
Oklahoma State scored 36 points, and all of its scoring runners finished 11th or better.
Hassan Abdi finished in third behind Bernard Keter and Miguel Bautista of Texas Tech. Abdi finished the race in 25 minutes and 39.1 seconds.
Luis Martinez took fifth in 25:41.9, Josh Thompson earned seventh in 25:44.9, Anthoney Armstrong finished in 25:52, good enough for 10th, and Christian Liddell rounded out the Cowboys’ scoring effort with an 11th place finish and a time of 25:52.5.
Sylvester Barus, the Cowboy Jamboree champion, finished in 20th with a time of 26:06.9.
The 2016 Big 12 title is OSU’s ninth straight.
The Cowgirls performed well, but did not win the Big 12 championship, finishing finished second behind the Iowa State women.
Kansas’ Sharon Lokedi won the individual race in a time of 20:18.5.
Kaela Edwards made her return to competition for the Cowgirls, finishing 13th with 21:11.7.
Michelle Magnani continued her outstanding freshman season. She was the highest finisher for OSU in seventh in 20:47.8.
The next time out for OSU will be Nov. 11 in Iowa City, Iowa, for the NCAA Midwest Regional.
