The Oklahoma State wrestling team improved to 8-0 following their 40-3 victory against West Virginia in Morgantown on Friday night.

No. 2 Derek White continued his dominant season at heavyweight with his sixth fall, defeating Brandon Ngati in 2:23. No. 13 Kaid Brock also collected his first fall of the season at 141, pinning Caleb Rea in 2:43.

No. 4 Nick Piccininni and No. 2. Daton Fix continued their strong season as the tone-setters at the lowest weights for the No. 3 Cowboys at 125 and 133 respectively.

Piccinnini secured his 10th technical fall with a 21-5 victory against Joey Thomas, while Fix won by decision 8-2 against No. 15 Matthew Schmitt.

Wyatt Sheets won his dual debut at 157, beating Zach Moore 3-0. Andrew Shomers, who is competing with Wyatt Sheets among others for the starting role at 157, lost 6-4 at 165 to No. 20 Nick Kiussis in a sudden victory.

No. 5 Joe Smith won by technical fall at 174, defeating Jams Wujek 20-2. No. 10 Dakota Geer won by decision at 197 against Noah Adams, 10-6.

West Virginia forfeited 184 giving No. 11 Jacobe Smith the victory.
