The Oklahoma State women’s cross-country team finished in 17th and the Cowboys took 12th. at the NCAA Championships in Terra Haute, Indiana, on Saturday morning.
Kaela Edwards was the Cowgirls’ best runner with an 80th-place finish. Molly Sughroue finished in 88th, and freshman standout Michelle Magnani placed 188th and did not score.
For the Cowboys, two runners crossed the line in the top 40, which is good enough for All-American honors.
Hassan Abdi finished in 16th, and Josh Thompson took 36th. Christian Liddell took 121st, and Sylvester Barus placed 139th.
Cross-country season is done, but OSU now heads into the indoor track season.
The Cowboys are defending Big 12 champions in the indoor season, and Kaela Edwards is the defending NCAA mile champion.
