Off-Campus Student Association is providing resources for students who want to move off campus.

“We help with housing resources for students, off-campus resources,” said Suzanne Deveny, university chair of OCSA.

OCSA represents all students that live off campus, which is the majority of the student body.

“It’s like the SGA for off-campus students,” said Chris Hill, president of OCSA.

It also voices its concerns to SGA about off campus events Deveny said.

OCSA helps students that are optimistic about moving off campus with information on the different housing available. Its Web site, www.osuoffcampus.org, has renting information including self inspection tips for renters and a housing condition checklist.

Along with the Web site, OCSA will provide more resources at its annual Renter’s Fair on March 31 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Student Union Atrium.

Renter’s Fair shows students their options of off-campus housing.

“We will have different companies and majority of the off campus apartments,” Hill said.

“It’s like an informational to get people who are on campus who want to move off campus an avenue to decide like where should I live and what happens when you live off campus.”

Representatives from local apartments, landlords and property managers will be present at the fair.

OCSA also has applications for student who want to join the organization.

“We’re always accepting applications,” Deveny said.

OCSA has seven open seats for senators, Deveny said.

“Senators serve with us and SGA. A lot of people like to be a senator because when they become a senator they are a senator for SGA and OCSA,” Hill said.

“My whole goal this year is to put our name more out there because we are a huge organization. We represent the majority of the population on campus,” Hill said.
