Two students were sent to the Stillwater Medical Center yesterday after falling through the first floor window of the Seretean Center while wrestling.
"The whole thing was a huge accident and I feel terrible because it could have been so much worse if we hadn't have moved after we hit. We fell in and stopped and I noticed the glass was both plate glass and was moving and pushed him out of the way while we both struggled to move out," Junior Joshua Edmonson said. "Hell we shouldn't have been horsing around. I just thank God it wasn't worse."
Edmonson had two gashes in his hand that required 12-21 stitches, and Jake Pirtle severed two tendons and had surgery last night.
"His was worse- severed two tendons and his thumb has lost a little bit of sensitivity on his right arm. He'll be alright, but therapy and sling for up to 7 weeks I believe," Edmonson said.
