    An Oklahoma State University football player appeared in court Thursday to face charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.

    Jonathan Rush, 23, arrived in court with attorney Willie Baker, who requested the case be rescheduled.

    An investigation into stolen textbooks resulted in the arrest of an Oklahoma State University student Thursday.

    Jaeger David Cox, 21, was arrested on suspicion of grand larceny following an interview about the textbooks at the OSU Police Department, Assistant Police Chief David Altman said Tuesday.

    Former university employee's pretrial date moved

    The pretrial date was postponed in the case against a former university employee facing a felony charge of embezzlement

    Cynthia Low, 46, entered a plea of not guilty on Dec. 30 and appeared for her pretrial Friday.

    Low is accused of embezzling nearly $80,000 from the university to buy personal items such as a DVD player, and underwater puzzle, lingerie and sex toys, according to court records.  

    District Judge Phillip Corley ordered the pretrial date be rescheduled to 9:00 a.m. March 23 at the Payne County Court House.

    An Oklahoma State University student faces two felony drug charges after Stillwater police searched his home Friday.

    George Tanifum, Jr., 22, was arrested at his home on the 400 block of South Lewis Street, said Capt. Randy Dickerson of the Stillwater Police Department.
