Will Hancock, born April 6, 1969

Hancock was in his fifth year as OSU’s coordinator of media relations. Hancock worked primarily with publicity for men’s basketball and men’s golf, but he also worked in public relations for 14 other sports at OSU. Hancock’s father, Bill, is director of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.

Hancock married OSU women’s soccer coach Karen Hancock in June 1996. Karen gave birth to the couple’s first child, a daughter named Andie, on Nov. 16.
