Very few times in the history of television has a show grabbed people’s attention the way Game of Thrones does.
HBO’s medieval fantasy tale wrapped up its seventh and penultimate season Sunday with an epic finale.
The buildup and anticipation for this episode far exceeded most, if not all episodes of the series that came before it.
Several Oklahoma State students were buzzing about it among friends, in class and on social media.

Without giving any spoilers away, the finale filled the near-90 minutes of screen time with everything fans hoped for.
Unlikely alliances were forged, seemingly unbreakable ties were snapped, agendas were advanced and halted and the hallmark characteristic of the series of killing off important characters was brought back with a bang.
People took to social media to not only voice their excitement for the finale, but to also post their reactions.
