Goodfella will be making an appearance at the Orange House on 125 S Knoblock in Stillwater at on Saturday 7 p.m.
The band includes members Jason Coffelt (vocals), Jake Ford (bass/vocals), Mike Cambiano(lead guitar/vocals), Alec Beeson(rhythm guitar), and Andrew Lindroth (drums). They are expecting a lively show on Saturday.
A band of growing popularity in Tulsa, Goodfella has just finished a tour but are making a special trip to play an extra show in Stillwater.
“We don’t stop moving for most our set,” Cambiano said. “So, expect to get really rowdy and have a good time. Crowd surfing is encouraged.”
The music of this punk-pop band has an exclusive feel due to the creativeness of its musicians.
“Mike comes up with crazy melodic licks and Jake and Andrew word together like a machine to create solid beats to bring everything together,” Beeson said. “I’m doing my best to just keep up…and look pretty according to Andrew.”
This band is unique in their commitment to music and to their fans. Despite many obstacles throughout their journey, they have not given up on Goodfella.
“All of us have this insane dream to do this for a living,” Lindroth said. “Even though we have had many setbacks, we look at it as paying our dues…rather than thinking the world is against us or making constant excuses.”
The members understand the hardships that come with starting a band and encourage others to stay committed.
“Never give up on something you love and have a passion for,” Lindroth said, “It’ll be the biggest regret of your life.”
Their setlist will include their popular song “Hopeless,” from a new track from their latest EP released September 2018 called “We’re All Attached to Something.”
Goodfella’s music can be found on most music streaming sites.
The Orange House will also be hosting Ben Quad, Cliffdiver, My Heart & Liver are the Best of Friends, and Brooding following Goodfella’s performance.
