Everything leaving and coming to Netflix - March 2019

Netflix

Every month, Netflix adds new homework distractions and takes away old ones.

Ah, Netflix.

The online streaming service that contributes to 95 percent of my procrastination.

If you’re anything like me, then you probably spend a couple hours a day doing nothing but scrolling through what Netflix has to offer.

Every month, that list changes as Netflix adds new homework distractions and takes away old ones.

Here’s a list of everything I’m stoked Netflix is adding and what I’m sad it’s taking away.

What I’m sad is leaving

"Disney’s Beauty and the Beast"

This film is a masterpiece. The music is beautiful, just like in the original animated version, and the actors do a great job. It’s a truly enjoyable movie and I’m sad to see it go.

"Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End"

Another Disney film is getting axed. This movie isn’t as good as the original “Pirates of the Caribbean,” but Captain Jack Sparrow can still make you laugh. Sadly, Netflix says it’s time to say farewell.

"The Breakfast Club"

Some people think that this movie has not aged well, but I still enjoy watching it occasionally. I’ll miss watching them dance around the library.

What I’m excited is coming

"Disney’s Saving Mr. Bank"s

I absolutely love “Mary Poppins” (1964), so I was super excited when this movie about Walt Disney convincing P.L. Travers to let him make that absolute masterpiece came out. I’m going to watch it as soon as it comes on Netflix.

"Disney’s Christopher Robin"

Like many people, I grew up watching “The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.” When this movie about Christopher Robin all grown up came out, I dragged my mom to the movie theater to watch it. She will probably not be pleased with how many times I watch it over spring break.

"Apollo 13"

This is an awesome movie about NASA’s efforts to get the Apollo 13 astronauts safely back to Earth after a failed mission to the moon. It’s exciting and suspenseful, and I can’t wait to watch it again.
