O’Colly: What is your favorite movie?
Fernandez: This year, “The Hangover” was pretty funny. I mean because it’s a group of guys going to Vegas, everybody gets crazy and its really funny.
What do you do when you aren’t running?
School work. I mean my life right now is running and school, but I would say hanging out with my friends.
Who is your favorite superhero?
Flash. He is fast. That’s the best superhero out there.
If you could have any super power what would it be?
To be able to read minds.
What is the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you?
I went to this middle school to give a speech and some of my friends thought it would be funny to de-pants me in front of everyone, and I thought that was pretty embarrassing.
What other sports have you been involved in besides running?
Basketball, football and soccer.
What is your favorite food?
Sushi.
What is your favorite family tradition?
Going to church every Sunday.
What do you think about while you’re running?
I think about my future goals. The big one has to be making the Olympics in 2012.
If you could go on a dream date with any girl, who would it be?
Megan Fox. She is one of a kind. She is a really beautiful young lady.
