Remembering Will Hancock…

One of those people was Bill Little, the assistant athletic director for external affairs at the University of Texas. Little was hit particularly hard by the loss of Will Hancock, OSU’s basketball media relations director who was one of the 10 people killed in the crash.

The Cowboy in White

I can remember Nate’s last high school tennis match and his last high school basketball game, both when he was at Edmond North High School. Our paths just overlapped that way.

Is any tribute fitting?

Far too soon.

Remembering Daniel

I hate the fact that death is what I have to talk about in my first column — but I promised myself that I would be positive.

Future of student recruiting may be funding public schools

The University of Texas at El Paso is discovering that funding public elementary and middle schools can help cut back on recruiting costs, as well as create more qualified future students.

Accident evokes tears, emotion throughout OSU

University excuses absence for memorial attendees

The service will honor those who died in Saturday’s plane crash.

“This is a hard time for the institution, and it is important for faculty and students who want to attend,” said Marvin Keener, executive vice president for student affairs.

“The administration has also been advised to allow employees the opportunity to attend, understanding essential functions that still have to happen.”

KOSU, campus channels 16 and 17, and Stillwater cable Channel 99 will air the memorial service live.
